United Way of South Central Tennessee has the network and local expertise to help your organization turn purpose into measurable impact. We take a comprehensive view of community needs and work alongside partners across the region to mobilize people and resources so everyone can thrive.
For 70 years, we’ve listened to our community and worked collaboratively to address the issues that matter most to local families. That experience allows us to connect you to trusted local partners and proven strategies that resonate with your employees and customers while driving meaningful social and business impact.
We make it easy for employees to give through payroll deduction, while offering companies additional ways to engage through sponsorship and volunteer opportunities. Together, individual giving and corporate involvement create meaningful, lasting impact across our community.

While 14% of families live below the Federal Poverty Level, an additional 30% are ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed), working hard but unable to cover the cost of living in their county. United Way leverages ALICE data and donor support to develop targeted solutions, providing immediate relief and long-term pathways to stability and prosperity.
