Nearly half of South Central Tennessee households are struggling to afford basic needs.
While 14% of families live below the Federal Poverty Level, an additional 30% are ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed), working hard but unable to cover the cost of living in their county. United Way leverages ALICE data and donor support to develop targeted solutions, providing immediate relief and long-term pathways to stability and prosperity.

Building Thriving Communities, Together.
Ingram Content Group hosted an on-site kit packing activity for its employees to volunteer during their work day. The hygiene kits they packed were distributed to numerous students and families in our community.
Jack Daniels employees purchased diapers and wipes for the annual Baby Basics Collection Drive, which provides basic newborn supplies and resources for young families in need.
Raymond James employees partnered and volunteered with a local nonprofit agency during United Way's Volunteer Week. This initiative encourages companies and individuals to volunteer during National Volunteer Week!
Murfreesboro Medical Clinic physicians and employees enjoyed a private meet and greet with characters at Storybook Breakfast, of which they are the presenting sponsor.
