About

The purpose of our Legacy Society is to provide caring community investors the opportunity to make a stable funding source for programs and initiatives crucial to the long-term success of our local community.

Join The Legacy Society

Your relationship with United Way has grown into significant community impact. With the United Way’s Legacy Society, it can blossom into stability and security for our future generations. United Way’s Legacy Society is a planned gift giving to our endowment which will be used to achieve our Bold Goals 2030 and provide support for those in need. We invite you to consider UWSCTN in your estate planning to ensure your family is left in good hands and your passion to help others echoes to our children and our children’s children. We will partner with you, your loved ones and your financial advisor to help complete this process and keep you informed every step of the way. Membership in United Way’s local Legacy Society involves a $25,000 deferred gift, or an outright gift equal to or greater than $10,000.

You may remember United Way in your will:

  • by designating United Way as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy;
  • through the gift of a pension, IRA or other retirement plan proceeds;
  • through the establishment of remainder or lead trusts;
  • by remembering others through memorial gifts; and
  • through the gift of securities and real estate.
