Join us for a meaningful Community Conversation hosted by United Way of South Central Tennessee! We are gathering community members across the region to envision a thriving future for all. These discussions will help us identify collective priorities, highlight community strengths, and develop effective approaches to the challenges we face together.
We're hosting several of these important conversations throughout the region to ensure a wide range of perspectives are utilized in shaping United Way's work and community investments.
Why now?
In 2020, we launched the Bold Goals for 2030 after engaging the communities of Rutherford and Cannon Counties in a needs assessment throughout 2018 and 2019. The results of this process have significantly shaped our work over the last 5 years. During this period, your local United Way has expanded to serve seven counties - Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Lincoln, Moore, Rutherford, and Warren. The timeline of this expansion coincides with the halfway point in the strategy outlined in the Bold Goals for 2030. In that same time frame, we have experienced a global pandemic, changes in our economic landscape, and significant population growth in our region.
We look forward to engaging with our expanded communities to reassess our collective priorities and ensure our impact strategies reflect the needs and aspirations of all seven counties we now serve.
See below the ways that you can be engaged in the conversation.
