Baby Basics

The average family spends approximately $75 per month on diapers, and up to $30 per month on baby wipes. These essentials for new families can often create a financial strain, requiring parents to choose between newborn essentials, groceries, gas, and more.

At United Way of South Central Tennessee, we believe everyone, including our youngest neighbors, deserves the essentials they need to thrive.

Baby Basics is a community collection-drive for newborn essentials - diapers and baby wipes - across our seven-county service area: Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Lincoln, Moore, Rutherford, and Warren counties. Once items have been collected, volunteers will help sort and distribute items to local hospitals, health departments, non-profit agencies, and those in need.
