2022 – 2023 Catalyst Program Applications are CLOSED
The United Way Catalyst Program, presented by Integrity Eye Care, is a nine-month program that helps train nonprofit volunteer leaders of tomorrow.
To connect and develop business leaders in the community to become engaged in social responsibility through the means of advocacy, giving and volunteerism. The program aims to meet the needs of society today, while proactively preparing and pursuing measures in place for future generations.
To be the most desired community leadership development program in Rutherford and Cannon counties by creating tomorrow's community leaders, today.
"I was excited when I was selected to participate in the 21/22 United Way Catalyst Program! Each month, we heard from interesting and informative speakers and how they use their individual skill sets to help their nonprofits succeed, be it from an Executive Director level or from a Board perspective.
My takeaway from the Catalyst Program is to find the organization you are truly passionate about and just get involved at the level you’re ready to commit to - you AND the organization both will reap the rewards!
As all of the participants in the Catalyst Program are committed to giving back to our Rutherford County area, I’m now seeing my fellow classmates at community events, so it’s nice to have that common bond of the Catalyst Program."
