Everyone deserves an equal chance at a bright future, and that includes our community's youngest members. The Baby Basics Collection Drive, presented by Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford, supplies expectant and new mothers and their babies with a basic supply of items that every newborn needs.
Our 2025 goal is to support 750 new mothers and babies through the collection of diapers, packages of wipes, blankets, bottles, and onesies. Donations will be distributed to local organizations.
Baby Basics is comprised of two parts: the Collection Drive (6-week collection of items needed) and the Sort-a-Thon (one-day packing event).
All items should be new and for ages newborn through 6 months.

Drop off all collected baby items during the following times.

Join us for the Kick-Off on January 8th at 9:00 AM! We'll discuss this year's goal, hear from our partners about the impact on local moms and babies, and share more about how you or your organization can be involved.

There are three main ways to give to Baby Basics:
- Purchase any of the items being collected and drop off at one of the public collection sites listed above.
- Shop using our Amazon Wishlist. Add to your cart and have the items shipped directly to the United Way offices!
- Donate directly to United Way to support this initiative. A $30 donation will provide one mom and baby with the basic supplies they need. The donation link will be available soon.
