November 2017 Volunteer of the Month
Robin Seay is a true Tennessean with a Volunteer spirit. When Robin is not volunteering through United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Young Leaders Society and various other organizations (or embracing some good old fashion southern relaxation at falls or lakes), you can find her hard at work as a motivated real estate agent for Parks Realty. She proudly serves her community through Murfreesboro Young Professionals (MYP) as the Community Outreach Committee chair. MYP is an organization dedicated to creating a community for professionals to grow personally, professionally and civically and has led Robin to make the relationships and connections needed to get more involved. She has been a resident of Murfreesboro since 2004 and loves the change and growth the city has made over the years.
Robin is involved with the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties by serving as an active volunteer for initiatives such as Hometown Huddle, the Community Baby Shower and Stuff the Bus. During this year’s Stuff the Bus, Robin led the charge for Murfreesboro Young Professionals to collect over 100 backpacks for underprivileged children in the community. Robin is also a member of the United Way Young Leader Society.
Robin said, “I support United Way because they support and fight to give everyone in the community a fair chance when it comes to health, financial stability, and education.”
